True perspective on professional wrestling (and sports entertainment).
Real. Because that's what you deserve.
Objectively subjective. Kind of an asshole. Helping you enjoy wrestling more.
That’s the best way to describe me, Greg DeMarco. I also have a family, promote wrestling events in Arizona, publish a website, and more. But for the purposes of newsletter, it’s really the top three items above.
This newsletter gives me the opportunity to share my opinions with you, and also gives you control. There’s a free email list, and you will receive some of our articles if you’re only on the free list. But if you want to support the being done—and want access to everything published (and a lot more)—the price is $60 a year or $6 monthly. The choice is yours, but I happen to think it’s a good way to spend $6 a month. It’s a hell of a lot better than paying for wrestling newz (more on that in a second).
What To Expect
Near daily content from yours truly and some other contributors I am roping into this adventure with me—all directed at providing you with the best perspective on the wrestling business.
Analysis that isn’t agenda driven, but intended to help you better understand what you’re watching. This might mean challenging some of what you’ve been told or want to believe. But this is all real…no gimmicks.
Old and new, because pro wrestling has a rich history that needs to be remembered and learned from.
A conversational style. Many have described my writing style as having a conversation with me. It’s a one-sided conversation, which might be more accurate than I’d like to admit. :)
Access to me. I have a voicemail, text, and email address set up for subscribers. Because if you’re willing to support this, you deserve access.
A lot of fun. Because that’s why you watch and follow this crazy wrestling business, right?
What Not To Expect
Wrestling Newz. Because I hate it. Most of the “news” reported online is complete bullshit, either fed directly to the reporter by a company to drive an agenda, or simply made up to generate click-based revenue.
Screaming and yelling. That’s partially a lie, because I do that on occasion. (Like when I talk about why Eric Bischoff needs to be in the WWE Hall Of Fame.) But when you get it from here, it will be worth it.
An agenda. Now, we all have agendas, but I come from a place that is real. I don’t want you to hate WWE, so I won’t write in a way that’s intended to make you hate WWE (or prefer AEW over everything). You probably read a lot of that and don’t even know it’s going on.
Bullshit. You’re not getting that from DeMarco Wrestling, because as a subscriber (free or paid), you deserve better. You came here for a reason, and that’s appreciated. I’m not going to tell you what you want to hear, I am going to tell you what you need to hear.
